Shipping Policies


Let us coordinate our production schedule so your order ships on the appropriate Friday closest to your event date.

Orders shipping to California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico arrive on Tuesday; orders shipping to Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming arrive on Wednesday. Call for information concerning Hawaii shipments.

To qualify for this program, your order must weigh at least 150 lbs. Orders weighing between 150-499 lbs will be billed out at published UPs Ground rates. Orders weighing 500 lbs. or more will be billed out at published UPS Ground rates minus 20%. “economy West” must be referenced on your purchase order and all shipments are arranged by a carrier of Towel Specialties choice.

>> FOB: Baltimore, MD 21237.

>> DELAYS:Towel specialties is not responsible for late deliveries by carrier or due to acts of God, terrorism, war, or strikes.

>> SHIPPING METHOD:For customer arranged carrier, customer is responsible for arranging pick-up during normal business hours. Contact carrier to confirm pickup.

>> SHIPPING CHANGES:Must be made at least 72 hours prior to ship date.

>> TRACKING:Purchase orders with an email address receive an autoupdate (with tracking numbers) when the order ships UPS.

>> PACKAGING:Standard bulk packaging, unless otherwise requested. special handling (non-standard carton quantities) available but usually requires additional time and cost.

>> DROP SHIPMENTS:$6.25(v) per destination. Must be provided on an excel spreadsheet. shipping charges are additional.

>> PALLETIZING AND SHRINK WRAPPING:$12.50(v) per pallet.

>> AIR SHIPMENTS:Dimensional weight applies to most products.

>> SHIPMENTS OUTSIDE CONTINENTAL U.S.:Must go through customer-designated freight forwarder that is approved by Towel Specialties.
